The mission of the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program, “to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children.” Volusia County Toys for Tots volunteers are determined to carry-out the mission with excellence. Last year, 2017, we collected over 43,000 toys and distributed them to 11,000 underprivileged children thus providing a sense of hope to those individuals whose lives may be in disarray at this moment in time. This act of generosity may be the spark that inspires a sense of acceptance and emulates responsibility to every child we serve.
