Join us for Bethune-Cookman University’s 2019 Protect Our Lagoon Academy – Master Class. The Academy is designed to train-the-trainer about water quality and healthy habitats within the Indian River Lagoon.
Event Details
Not limited to classroom lectures, the Academy will include field trips, guest speakers, and hands-on, feet-wet learning to provide the ultimate professional development experience. This Academy will cover the science, challenges, solutions, public policy and advocacy considerations of water quality and healthy habitats. Those participating in the six-day course will gain valuable knowledge and understanding to educate others on behalf of the Indian River Lagoon after the course’s completion.
Graduation certificates will be awarded on day-six of the Academy and are suitable for inclusion in employee files or framing. For example, a professor seeking tenure could submit this to their employment file.
