Event Details

Shaw Davis is quickly becoming an artist to watch in Contemporary Blues-Rock. He’s a fast and flashy player whose approach rests equally on technical assurance and musical intelligence.

Born April 4, 1995, the young guitarist has burst his way onto the Blues-Rock scene and is already known for his raw and emotional style. Backed by long-time friend, drummer Bobby Van Stone and bassist Patrick Stevenson, Shaw Davis & The Black Ties feature their own brand of Psychedelic Blues-Rock that continues to win over fans and crowds of all ages.

Formed May of 2016 out of Pompano Beach, Florida, the young power trio made multiple appearances on Blues Radio International and has been featured in South Florida Music Magazine for their crowd pleasing performances.

Prior to Shaw Davis, Martin & The Dead Guys will perform. When you come to one of Martin’s shows, you will hear songs that touch something inside of you. Songwriting is not only a passion, but a skill that Martin has perfected.
His songs make you feel like you’re part of a conversation. There is feeling, humor and wit, combined with great musical movement. He plays the guitar like it’s an extension of his soul and has that raw and gravelly voice to make feel what he’s saying.

Martin is from Oskaloosa, Kansas. He moved to Nashville in the 90’s and has penned hundreds of songs. While there, he was a regular performer at the famous Bluebird Cafe and Tootsies, just to name a few. He made an appearance on the Nashville Network TV show, “Be a Star”, and has had several songs placed in movies.

Martin and the Dead Guys play Martin’s original music as well as iconic tunes by artist of the past. He is backed up by a great rhythm section including Jory “Sky” Lasseter on drums and Doug Morgan on the standup bass.
This show is unique and quickly becoming a central Florida favorite.

Doors open at 8:00. Martin & The Dead Guys kick things off at 9:00.
