Bob's River Place A Pouplar Swimming Hole Description A pouplar Swimming Hole. This location is a rarity on the Suwannee River with its sandy bottom slope from n shallow water out to deeper water. There are extraordinary rope swings with multiple-choice of different platform heights to jump from small, medium, large and awesome, definitely not for the timid. Jumpers from the demon and monster must be in top physical condition these high jumping platforms are for people who love the extreme adrenaline rush excitement of participating doing back flips and dives while swinging off the end of a rope 30 to 40 feet above the water, some of the guys are capable of doing triple backflip and occasionally someone can do a quadruple, really exciting to watch, and also there is a waterslide 55 feet that you can get on at a lower level for persons that would like sliding but not so extreme. There is a floating dock that is used for playing King of the dock anchored out by itself, what a challenge to try and be the last man standing. A water volleyball court and also a dry volleyball court, There's a karaoke stage available for singers, and of course there are floating docks for sunbathers and jumping into the water. This new season(2012), we have our new Jumping Jack Splash Platform, which is approx. 20 ft high from the water.
