Bert Fish Medical Center is THE hospital for Southeast Volusia County, Florida!. The Hospital District is an independent special-taxing district, whose mission is to provide access to health care for residents of Southeast Volusia County irrespective of their ability to pay. A board of 7 appointed commissioners oversees the District, deciding how best to use funds to ensure Southeast Volusia residents receive quality healthcare. Our Mission: At Bert Fish Medical Center the Employees, Medical Staff and Volunteers, through their concerted effort, provide all the necessary service to improve the health, well-being and quality of life of those in Southeast Volusia County.
