Daytona Beach is a renowned and popular vacation destination and playground for visitors of all ages. It's conveniently located on the Central East Coast of Florida, approximately 50 miles from many theme parks and other favorite tourist spots.

People flock there mainly for the 23 miles of sparkling blue-green waters, with the average water temperature in the Atlantic Ocean being 70°, and white sandy beaches. However, the whole area itself is also filled with attractions, parks, and fun activities.

If you like to explore the great outdoors, then check out these beautiful parks and Gardens in Daytona Beach.

Rockefeller Gardens Park

Located by the Halifax river, this is a picturesque spot with its own fishing pier, a bike path, the Historic Casements building, and picnic areas and is the venue for numerous local events such as screening of movies on the first Friday of every month, art exhibitions, wedding ceremonies and receptions, and much more.

Tuscawilla Park

Its disc golf course is well laid-out and fun to play with some challenging holes. Other features are a zipline, an obstacle course, frisbee golf, a children's playground, and plenty of trees for shade if you take a relaxing half-mile walk around the scenic city park.

Frank Rendon Park

It's on the oceanfront in Daytona Beach Shores and has easy beach access, benches for viewing the ocean and beach, a beautiful sand bar, tide pools, a lifeguard on duty, covered picnic tables, a nice play area for the children, handicapped accessibility, and a number of private bathrooms.

Manatee Island

We must not forget a pet-friendly park! This is an off-leash and fully-fenced area where pups can play joyfully. You'll find a loop walkway around the island, a walking bridge, a great view of the river, a small outdoor amphitheater, a playground, and more.
