Paddle Board and Kayak Tour to collect food for Halifax Urban Ministries
Event Details
Thanksgiving is the time of year for giving thanks and providing a hand up to those in need. We will be collecting non-perishable food itens to donate to Halifax Urban Ministries. They are a local non-profit organization who provides services to those in need, including a food pantry. All the food donated will stay in the Greater Halifax area.
We are holding a paddle tour at Port Orange Causeway Park, 93 Dunlawton Avenue, Port Orange. We will paddle out along the mangrove islands where you will have the opportunity to view the beachside skyline, see dolphins and shore birds, pelicans and more.
If you would like to help those in need while getting some exercise on the water, please join us! As always the local paddle community is welcome to join us at no charge with your own equipment. Please register under the BYOB option.
With this being a time of giving thanks and since we are asking for participants to donate non-perishable food items, we are going to offer this paddle at a special low price. We appreciate everyone who has booked with us and we want to give back to the community that has given so much to us!
