2019 Summer Tech Camp for children 7 to 14 years old.
This camp will be held at Lourdes Academy Catholic School and will run from Monday- Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the week of July 22 - July 26.
This year's Coach: Mr. David Manning. He is one of the best technology instructors in Volusia County. Your student will learn a lot of cool tech stuff.
Here are some of the cool thigs your kid will learn during this STEM Summer Camp:
Begginers:
Students will create a basic animation using block programming language. They will create three basic games.
Advance Level:
Students in this level will learn the basics of web development and how 3D printers work. Last, students will learn entrepreneurship and compite during our Starfish Tank Challenge.
Miscellaneous:
Kids are expected to arrive by 9:00 a.m.
We will not provide lunch so please send them with their lunch packs. We'll have some snacks (Apples, Chips, and juice) during breaks.
Kids are allowed to wear the clothes they like; however, make sure they are comfortable and appropriate.
If your kids have headphones, please bring them. They will need them to show others they are immersed in coding their games.
Kids will need an email address so, please create one for them at home if they don't have their own.
It is going to be fun!
Pick up time is at 3:00 p.m.
