Save the Manatee Club, Volusia County and Seminole Scuba are organizing an underwater and on-land CleanUp and Dive Against Debris at Blue Spring State Park.

Friday, May 31st – 6 p.m. “Save the Manatees & Dive Against Debris” Presentation at Seminole Scuba - 3869 Lake Emma Rd, Lake Mary, FL 32746


Saturday, June 1st – 8:30 a.m. Blue Spring State Park CleanUp – 2100 W French Ave, Orange City, FL 32763


Project Aware Students and certified divers can help with the underwater portion of the cleanup. For more information, please email Gwen at info@seminolescuba.com
If you want to learn how to make a difference on every dive you take but not sure where to begin? Gain the knowledge and skills to activate your inner citizen scientist and complete regular Dive Against Debris® surveys under the guidance of a PADI Professional by taking the Dive Against Debris Specialty.
Everyone can help with the on-land portion of the Cleanup. For more information, please email Cora at cberchem@savethemanatee.org 
Everyone will be meeting at 8:30 a.m. on the lawn in front of the Thursby House. Please arrive on time and expect a line to get into the park. The dive will start at 9 a.m.
There will be a picnic lunch after. Please bring your own food/drinks (please no plastic)

To help out with the on-land portion of the CleanUp (free), please sign up here on Eventbrite.
Save the Manatee Club, Volusia County and Blue Spring State Park will be providing gloves, buckets and trash pickers, but please feel free to bring your own. You may also choose to clean up from a kayak or by snorkeling. Please bring your own equipment. Most trash will be found on land.
All fees will be donated evenly to both Save the Manatee Club (www.savethemanatee.org)  and Project Aware (www.projectaware.org)
