Good afternoon DIVAS and potential DIVAS! It has been brought to our attention that we need to review the ins and outs of Wine, Women and Chocolate!
Event Details
You asked, we deliver! Here is EVERYTHING you ever wanted to know about Wine, Women & Chocolate (hereafter referred to as WWC)!
WHEN and WHERE: WWC is the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 5:30-8:00pm and is held in historic, adorable, charming, downtown DeLand.
WHAT HAPPENS AT THE EVENT? You will start your evening with a WWC passport. Passports are available at EACH participating merchant and the event is free to participate! Each shop will have a "Wanda the Winey Wench" hiding for you to find. Once you spot her, you'll tell the shop guy/gal and he/she will stamp your passport! Each shop will have a sample of wine or chocolate (sometimes both) for you to indulge! Some shops will have special deals or promotions going on that night special for WWC divas!
Note: In order to qualify/enter for prizes at the end of the night, you'll have to visit at least 8 shops AND make a purchase (more on that later)!
OKAY, WHAT'S NEXT?
Once you have made your way around to the participating shops, you'll want to head down to the ending location around 7:50! Your passport will give you the location of the ending location (it changes quarterly)! Now, it's time for the FUN part-PRIZES! Yay!
Each merchant, including DeLand Mainstreet Association donates Gift Certificates for the end of the night drawings!
Here's the prize breakdown:
If you have stamps on your passport from each shop AND made a purchase, you are entered in the drawings for the Grand Prize Gift Certificates of the night! Yaaaay!
After we draw those winners, those that have at least 8 stamps on their passport AND made a purchase are entered in the drawings for the remaining Gift Certificates! Yaaaaay!
If you didn't make a purchase throughout the night, you are not eligible for the Gift Certificate drawings. But, hey-you had fun, drank some wine and had a great night out with your girls!
