Founded in 1969 by John Sherman as Jump Shack, the company today known as Parachute Laboratories was created to build equipment for himself and his Ten-Way Teammates- mainly because he didn't trust anyone else to do it right. Now after 40 years of innovation and 40,000 rigs PLI is the leader in engineering the safest parachute equipment in the world. Period.
