Let's make memories at Palm Valley History Festival in Daytona Beach.

Event Details

The First Annual Palm Valley History Festival will be held on Saturday, April 22nd from 1:00pm-7:00pm at The Palm Valley Community Center, 148 Canal Blvd, 32082. This special event will highlight the unique history, culture, and fortitude of the original pioneer families of Palm Valley and feature popular storytellers and local authors signing their books, plus a variety of arts, crafts, activities, and moonshine tasting.

Noted local historian Scott Grant will share his newly created visual presentation about the rich history of the greater Palm Valley area and its’ founding families. Learn about Spanish settlers, a British indigo plantation, Moonshine making sheriffs and Nazi spies. Enjoy a delightful outdoor Farmers Market and live folk music.

The Palm Valley History Festival coincides with the 75th anniversary of the opening of the Palm Valley Community Center, a former WWII barracks that was donated to the community and transported to the Palm Valley Landing by intracoastal barge in 1948. The Community Center is the home of the Palm Valley Community Association, one of the oldest continually operating community associations in North Florida. The mission of the PVCA is “to engage our residents, celebrate our community, and advocate for continuing the unique Palm Valley lifestyle”.
