Goat Games 2022: Volunteer Tribute Day & Aquatic Events

Come visit Yesahcan Sanctuary while helping founder, Karla, with the farm chores!

This is a special volunteer day, as the Goat Games 2022 will be in full swing! What does this mean?

Will you be asked to participate in Olympic style events in the brutal Florida heat?

Not at all!

Most of the volunteer tasks will be centered around the goat pasture - scooping poop and building a goat playground!

As you know, Florida summers are brutal and this volunteer event will be entirely outdoors. We ask that you pace yourself with necessary breaks, dress appropriately(closed toed shoes and clothing you don't mind getting dirty) and bring necessary protection from the sun.

We will have sprinklers, splash pools and slip & slide to help stay cool - our version of the aquatic events to be featured in Goat Games 2022!

Water and light vegan snacks will be available to all volunteers.

If you bring additional food, it is mandatory that all food items are vegan (free from any animal products) out of respect for the mission of the sanctuary and the residents.
