Join the fun of the St. Patty’s Day Block Party, Tuesday, March 17th from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM on historic Beach Street in Downtown Daytona Beach. This family friendly event is free and open to the public.
Event Details
Everyone is invited to get their Irish on, wear green and join the party as Riverfront Shops merchants celebrate St. Patty’s Day. McK’s Tavern has been celebrating St. Patty’s Day with all the traditional Irish fare and camaraderie since 1996. Expanding on McK’s long-standing traditional Irish celebration, Beach Street will be closed to vehicle traffic between International Speedway Boulevard and Orange Avenue to accommodate the block party and two stages of live entertainment.
Stage One will be located near Zappi’s Italian Garden and will feature two Indie Rock bands: “One Bad Penny” and “Moonlight Drive-In.” The second and smaller stage will be located in front of McK’s Tavern and feature acoustic Irish music with the duo “Flanders & Fancy.” Live entertainment will be from 5 PM to 10 PM.
In addition, the CELTS Pipe & Drum Corp will perform on Beach Street from 6-7 PM and the Worley-Hendricks Academy of Irish Dance Group will perform on both stages throughout the night. Attendees will find several Downtown restaurants offering dinner specials that include Irish fare. Food trucks, festival food, and adult libations will be available for sale at several locations on the street.
Another Distinctively Downtown Daytona Experience! The St. Patrick’s Day Block Party is presented by Brown & Brown Insurance, sponsored by Guinness Draught, the Daytona Beach Downtown Development Authority, and IMagine Daytona. The event is produced by Bullseye Direct Marketing in collaboration with Al Smith Productions.
Easy access to Beach Street with plenty of free parking can be found behind the Riverfront Shops.
