We know you heard about it and have seen the pictures from Art of War 1. Now we are bringing it back for the second round. Join us as 12 new artists will battle for the number one spot.
Event Details
School is starting soon so Daytona Design District and local artists are raising money for art supplies for Volusia County Schools.
Each artist will compete for 20mins for the first round and you the guest will decide who moves on to the second round of four. The final four will battle for another 20mins to determine this rounds champion. The final four from both rounds will be invited back August 16th for our battle of the champions, where there will be one left standing.
You will be amazed at what these professionals will create in this short amount of time. The paintings will be auctioned off with half the proceeds going to raise money for Volusia County Schools in need. After speaking with Volusia County Schools there is a HUGE void in this area. They need everything from pencils to paper to brushes and everything else in between. We will also be doing a supplies drive so if anyone has any projectors or dryers or anything that is not being used and you want it to be put to use, just contact (myself or angel) and we can make arrangements to pick it up or you to drop it off or you can bring it with you to the event. If you’re able to give that’s awesome and if not, just come and enjoy a great night. This is more than a show, it’s a education. Come watch his different disciplines work side by side all while competing against each other. We also have a special guest or two from the area who you will see on the flyer coming Monday making a trip back home to come support and show some love for a great cause. If you’re not excited by now then you might need to check your pulse because you my friend are not alive. Food provided by The Vegetable Butcher in the main room and Zen Bistro in the front room. If you missed the last one, trust me when I say... You do not want to miss this one!
