Event Details
Dining in the Dark allows us to step into the shoes of a blind person for one night--no blindfolds, no peaking!
Registration starts at 5:00pm and this exciting evening kicks off with a lighted reception and silent auction at 5:30 pm. Guests are then seated and served by the officers wearing night vision goggles. Seating is assigned. Guests will be entertained --in the dark-- while enjoying a meal prepared by the fabulous chefs of the Hilton Melbourne Rialto Place .
Part of the dining experience is using taste and aroma, rather than sight, to guess your meal. To enjoy the fun, the menu will not be revealed until the lights come up at the end of the night. (Dietary restrictions and allergies are considered.)
Dress code is *washable* business casual.
For sponsorship opportunities or to donate an item or basket to the silent auction, please contact CVI Board Member Jennifer Cleveland jclevelandcvi@gmail.com or Director of Development, Sid Mickle at (386) 253-8879 x 105 or smickle@cvicentralflorida.org
