Author Eric Dusenbery will be discussing his book Florida Soup: Putting History on the Table. His book covers aspects of food such as gathering, production, recipes and more that have defined the family and community in rural and small town Florida. Copies of his book will be available for purchase and Eric will be available to sign them after the presentation. All events in The Way We Worked lecture series are free and open to the public. A donation is appreciated but not required. Refreshments will be provided by Hottie Coffee. The lecture will be held in the DeBerry Room at the New Smyrna Beach Utilities Commission Building located on Canal Street.
